Is it possible to use my dee max rim with another hub? Will I need to call mavic about some specific spokes or something like that?

which deemax rim are we talking about, if its a new (04) one then no because i doubt you'll find any 28 spoke DH hubs out there. If its an older (yellow) one i believe its damn near the same as an old 321
Yellow Dee Max is a 321. The new DeeMax is 28 spoke, but they sell the rim aftermarket in multiple drillings. D3.1 I think ?

you could go for an older deemax rim if you can find it like an 02 with 36spoke then you could run a bigun/bulb or any other decent hub!!
otherwise im gonna have to agree with the masses and say, 28spoke rim! you've got no chance, unless you try contacting ,mavic directly and beg, they may be helpful and find you a different rim with only 28spokes, worth a try...
