Watched a mini-documentary on the making of Japanese kitchen knives last night. They interviewed a master smith who's family business was knife making. The translator was either a bot or a Millennial. She called some techniques by the wrong name altogether and mis-represented crucial steps in the process. I have just enough knowledge of the subject for it to make my head spin.
