Some idiot is selling his soul... link? It's not worth a link.

Anywho...

How is the contract going to be upheld?

If there's a god, then doesn't he have first rights to your soul? And if there's no god, but you do have a soul, then how is the contract going to be upheld?

True story:

I sold my soul to this goth kid in jr. high for like $1. Signed a contract and everything. Well, in high school, he wouldnt sell it back. Then he drowned on prom night in a river.

What happens to my soul?

if you still have that same dollar, you can use from free-mason mojo to get your soul back.

The contract probably belongs to whoever is the legal owner of his estate.

Someone's gotta collect on the contract when you die, though. Better hope his parents aren't satanists.
wouldn't he collect BS's soul in the afterlife?

who owns the soul... living or dead?

I don't think living legal contracts are enforcable in the afterlife. It would, after all, require a living court to enforce them.

I think the only reason that the whole selling-your-soul-to-Satan thing works out is because Satan can actually enforce the contract after you're dead.

Want to try it and find out? I've give you a nickel and some pocket lint for your soul.

good point.
as we all know from reading Job, satan is G-d's prosecutor, and he's not above frivolous lawsuits.
