Sounds stupid until you realise how much they will save on fuel and maintenance.
Search and rescue...that's awesome. It's like the homeless guy who ****s in your flowerbed presenting you an invoice for fertilizer.
That new jet technology is great for air shows and chest thumping as you blow up third world darkies with cruise missles and UAVs. It's reckless to put that expensive technology and a pilot in danger.
Thats what you get for buying them from some guy selling out of a back of a van in a grocery store parking lot.

The F-35 is such a POS. Canada would be better off getting some Super Hornets, like the Aussies.........
