I am a newbie to this forum and find it quite informative to say the least.
I am also Canadian! Saying so, I have purchased my new mountain bike from Canadian Tire. Very nice piece of machinery I must say so myself! (pic to follow...soon!)
The bike is a Supercylce 21 spd hooligan.
Now that I have explained where it was I purchased the bike, I came to realize that the cables are all out of wack and as well the brake pads, etc.. Guess the ppl that put these bikes together aren't what one would consider as mechanically inclined!
After spending 20 minutes with a hand full of tools I was able to line everything up and now it rides very nicely.
My next task is to get the spokes properly adjusted. Hopefully that won't be too costly!
I would like to ask if anyone out there is familiar with this bike and if so, could I replace the pedals with toe clips?
