From what I understand, this course didn´t have much gradient. Interesting to see two big guys up first.

Re: times for the girls.
The rain stayed away for morning practice and the girls qualifying, the track had dried in most places so was still quick.
The rain started again as hill left the start house in qualifying as the first rider, then it basicly kept raining on and off over the day.
The girls race run started in light rain, combined with some corners getting messy from the rain and riders from mens qualifying, it slowed them down a bit. 2 off camber corners in particular seemed to add a few seconds each as they were crucial to carry speed into the next sections.
The men basicly had a rain free run, a few bigger gusts of wind though and some very light drizzle but the track stayed drier.

It isnt the best track, but im sure the fans make up for it, and i'll be one of them next year, yewwwww.
So stoked both rennie and kovarick had good results, aswell as a lot of the mainly aussie field. Didnt really surprise me the top 3, being a track for the bigger peddlers in the field.

Minaar's run is up on freecaster, pity it doesn't show the rockgardens section(add 10 secs to the run), i guess it was too difficult to get a camera into that location.
But you can see from the run the small elevation drop (compared to other courses) and amount of pedaling required, especially at the end.
You can also see why it suits the riders who can carry speed and have alot of power.
I will say though minaar pedaled the most of any racer i've seen race there, usually there's very little till the last (flattest) section.
