To make a long story short, I got my brand new demo 8 two days with the CCDB on it, I was trying to figure out how to set it up and one of my roommates, thought the special tool for the shock was the coolest thing and when I left the room for a second, he unscrewed the low speed compression screw out all the way out, when that happened I heard the air leave and saw the oil sprayed all over my bike. So my question is if I can get that the little screw back in should I pretend it never happened or is it something where I should send it back into Cane Creek?

Thanks, Greg

absolutely must send it back to CCDB for service. make your a-hole roommate pay for it (rebuilds on those shocks aren't cheap - i think its around $150 or $200).

You should split the cost. Why?

1: you let your new bike be fiddled with by a non rider (don't argue, you left the tool in his hands)
2: your roomie shoulda known better.

but.... you should also get to kick him in the nuts
