Considering the one I saw up close was indeed the exact same, you have just bought jonkranked beers. The cool thing about this one was that it was .....gold reservoir/black spring can.if the ccdb air ever comes to the real world, and it comes out with twintube, with the exact same ajusters etc. I will buy you beer for the night.
I noticed that and was infact jealous,I was under the impression there was no more oil involved....anywayConsidering the one I saw up close was indeed the exact same, you have just bought jonkranked beers. The cool thing about this one was that it was .....gold reservoir/black spring can.
You can use magnetic fields to damp vibrations as well actually, 100% speed sensitive, zero friction.Well friction is really the only way to dampen oscillations. Hydraulic and pneumatic damping are also using the force of friction.
yea but elastomers did such a poor job that they used sh*tction^Also friction. In fact, the damping effect in elastomers is actually friction.
fvckin magnetsYou can use magnetic fields to damp vibrations as well actually, 100% speed sensitive, zero friction.
Magneto-rheological fluids are actually a different thing again to magnetic flux damping; they are still using oil flowing through a restricted port to control the damping, the advantage they offer is allowing the damping characteristics to be instantaneously changed by the car's ECU in order to idealise the damping for whatever situation the car is in at the time (cornering, braking, accelerating, whatever).Futureshox.
Edit: Here's an audi combination hydro/magentic damper. 100% magnetic would be very cool!
Aside from a few random brushes of the shoulder at the gym, I've never had my hands on Malcolm's equipment.Did you get to feel it ????
That is a compliment right? That video feels like it was produced by Lifetime Television
Really? I was thinking "Diane Sawyer: Special Report on refugee children".That video feels like it was produced by Lifetime Television
yes pleaseOther manufacturers such as Fox or BOS offer complete chassis. It would make sense to transfer the performance and the knowledge from the DB in a suspension fork?
Cane Creek is not such a big manufacturer like other sellers in the market. A mold (mold's note R) for casting a fork can easily cost a six figure sum, which is a large sum. If we are to advance in this area, then probably with a rather upside-down fork that is designed to work from the cost-effective.
I laughed. That video feels like it was produced by Lifetime Television
They should make a cartridge that fits every fork...yes please
Seems you're in luck thenI hope they make one for the makulu.
Do you mean coil version doesn't have 15mm eye diameter (w/o bushing)??does anyone know if these use normal shock reducers? or do you have to use those stupid ones like the coil has?
By "stupid ones", I assume you mean the spherical bearings, which are a good thing for performance, as they remove the typical over-constrained situation of shock mounts. over-constrained shock mounts create extra friction and wear in the shock.does anyone know if these use normal shock reducers? or do you have to use those stupid ones like the coil has?
Or just buy them from SKF, like CC does. I had to make my own adapters for them but that worked fine.If you ask CaneCreek they will stick spherical bearings in there for you. They still use them on the SAE shocks.
