What an odd question:

"I’d like to live in a community with a large Spanish-speaking population."

My #1 is Milwaukie, Oregon (not my first choice, but close)

I'm guessing if I would have said something possitive rather than "Neutral" for spanish speaking, it might have picked when I live now! I love my Pacific NW, and that just goes to show.

I lived in Aloha/beaverton for 6 years and there was a HUGE Latino population there. It was cool.

That's why I think if I would have said that it was needed, it would have gave me Hillsboro. I live in Forest Grove and work in Hillsboro. Not sure why it picked Milwaukie, I don't remeber saying I required acess to meth...

I found mine had more to do with the housing cost I chose than where I wanted to live or what I liked to do.

i haven't done it yet but your list made me laugh. I grew up in shelburne falls and when I move back east from where I currently live I will likely be living in up to 9 of the towns on your list. Who else on RM is from shelburne? It's not a very big town.

5) cincinnati <-- undergrad friend's family is from here, visited them for a bit. seemed a lot nicer than most of the midwest... heh
