because I kinda sorta remember an incident where one of our idiots drove a nuke across the border into Canada.

Just remember guys, none of the 9/11 terrorists came through Canada. I know that some doinks in the FedGov want to point at our libertarian culture and claim it for a hotbed of terrorism, but, quite frankly, it just isn't so.
If I was still Stateside, I'd be demanding greater scrutiny of the bastards we already have in the country. How many radical Imams can we deport? etc.
The problem I [as a 50/50 CDN/USA kinda guy] see with all this attention paid to the northern border is that resources are being wasted that should be used elsewhere that really needs it.
I mean, c'mon - Miami is a sieve.
