i'm going to the cape this upcoming friday for my GFs uncle's wedding, but we're gonna be staying there for about a week 8/13-8/22

i'd like to hook up with some folks and check out some local trails/DH/DJ spots in and around boston.

i'm definitely gonna go check out Rye...and perhaps jiminy, if someone would be willing to show me around

Ummm.........Jiminy will be a haul from Boston/the Cape - probably 3 hours or so I'd guess.

Ride Nam - PM Splat and perhaps he can give you a tour.

For vietnam and Lynn, the trail DJ bike is definitely the tool of choice. Ridden my DH bikes in there a lot before too, but I love my Imperial the most for those trails.

I'd come up and show you around, but I have a couple really busy weeks ahead of me and I cant leave home for a while.

cool...no worries, i briefly lived in boston in summer of 2000, i've been wanting to go back to lynn.

what's there for dh? is jiminy worth the drive? what about Tenney?

If you're going to be up there you should get a hold of some folks for an Urban in Providence... there is some sick stuff there.

There is also Lincoln woods in RI that is very fun fast and flows really nicely... but with plenty of big hucks if you want. Bring a bike you can climb with!

I think Jiminy is definitely worth the drive. Tenney isnt open for freeriding, but there is a race there the 21-22. Attitash is also not too far, and I've heard great things about the trails up there.

private joker does...there is actually a fairly big crew of people going to Bromont from the Boston area this weekend...myself not included( I used my hallpass for Diablo last saturday) .
