So I want to get the car carrier for my Pontiac sun fire. I found a nice one for 49.99. Problem is its designed for a frame that has a triangle design. My bike has only one solid tube going tot he front. So they have this other thing that cost as much as the actual carrier to fit on a bike liek mine to make it able to sit on the car carrier. Same price and everything for a thing of plastic to make it fit ?????

Is there a way I can hook my bike up to this car carrier with some type of homemade device or something? I never bought it because of this.

What kind of rack. If you have an expencive bike then secure it with a good rack. And the false top tube you are taliking about can be found cheaper. elseware. I got one for about $20.
