Both actually.
Aside from 2 months in the summer, ours averages between 15 and 20 kwh. And for that our bill is ~$110/month.

My power bill is $16.00 a month.
Most of that is the privilege of being allowed to have power.
VW thoughts have passed, Mazda2 sounds more likely.

Actually it's the opposite. Because it's an urban(ish) area, all the powerlines are buried which leads to $$$$$ when things go wrong.
On the flip side I've lived here for 7 years and have never had the power go out for more than a couple minutes at a time...
After a week+ without power each of the past two years, I'd happily pay a pretty significant surcharge for buried lines.
i would have never thought that something like that would have been covered under warranty... ive never heard of it.
but, then again, i dont buy new cars. i cringe enough when i want a car thats obd2.

Turns out were not spending as much on gas as I thought, at least according to quicken. I guess were going to stay with the status quo for now. I don't dislike the Subaru enough to justify what cost of ownership (read:car payments) for a Leaf is at this time.
