Got some carbon bars and need to cut them.

Should I just go with the park tool blade?

I'm guessing no home depot type shop would have something for cheaper and of equal quality?

Not sure anything special is required. Doesn't seem so for steerer tubes.

Just get a hacksaw blade with the highest tooth count from the hardware store. Wrap tight with painters tape or similar to prevent tear-out.

Sand smooth with fine sandpaper.

Do not inhale the dust.

Update will.

What westy said. The park blade is a pain. The cutting edge is wide, so it can catch on the cutting guide and wear out easy faster than it should.

Not sure why my link posted as "robot or human"
But Stanley makes a diamond grit hack saw blade.
Which looks similar to the park blade. Is it as phat though?

As my park blade using park guides isn't a good combination for blade longevity.

Do you have the new updated Park saw guide?

I was going to pick up one of these, as the one I have right now is pretty shitty.

I do, and an older one. I was probably using the narrow slot not liking the amount of wiggle room the wider slot had when trying to do a square cut.
