There is a local neighborhood cat that picks a hole in my garbage bags on the deck making a huge mess every time I have to put them out for trash day. I have not yet decided between a .177 PHP or .22 subsonic solution.

Hahahahaha...wiseass. It is not the regular volume of trash that fits within my trash cans w/ lids that is the problem. It is when I have an extraordinary volume of trash or when pickup is delayed due to holidays that it won't all fit in my trash cans. For the record, I was just joking but I certainly have thought about it a time or two when picking up disgusting, slimy diapers and bathroom trash in my business suit while late to work. To this day, I have never shot anything living with either a real or a BB gun...well, besides my friends when we used to have Red Ryder wars.

I would not waste my precious KB on a feline or any other pet for that matter. I had friends with an all black cat named "Spliffy" who used to poke a paw into sacks left open, but that's probably only because they stupified the poor creature during its formative years with billowing bonghits anytime it came around during a session.

Hmmmmm...the last sack I picked up had a couple feline-looking hairs stuck to a coupla the buds; perhaps catnip really IS kittykind and cannabis just reminds them of it. That would certainly explain their stand-offish, indifferent ways and love of lounging about shiftlessly.
