(Did we discuss this and it get booted by the DB rollback?)

CBS refuses to air anti-Bush ad from moveon.org, but will apparently play an ad from the White House.

From the little I knew about this, I thought CBS was fairly rejecting all political ads across the board. But the email I just got from a friend claims that the Bush Admin is getting their ad aired.

Is that true?

Don't know if it's true or not, but I saw the ad last week on the O'Reilly show. It wasn't that bad, so I don;t know what the huge problem is. The ad showed kids working in a sweatshop, then asked "Who will be paying off today's national debt in the future?", or something along those lines. Personally, I think 100 million drunk football fans would laugh at the ad.

I had the story e-mailed to me too, it does seem a little lame on CBS's part.

The Whitehouse ad will run.
Oh, I found out... it is NOT a white house ad. It's an (PSA perhaps?) anti-drug ad. Granted, it's the terrorist anti-drug ad which is way stooopid, but it's much closer to the anti-smoking Truth ads than a presidential campaign and.
