I know the are sorta BS but we all have them so, what do you have. Here is my list:

  1. Exorcist theme (my favorite)
  2. Halloween Theme
  3. "beat it"
  4. "pitiful" -Blindside
  5. "bro hymn"-Pennywise

I love the reactions from people when the halloween or exorcist themes ones go off, i think i made a girl shat herself one time with it...

cell phone ring tones are lame and annoying. my cell phone is on polite. it is a low ring accompanied by a vibrate. that way half of the city doesnt have to know when i'm recieving a phone call.

i was working the other day and this woman in line had some unidentifyable custom ring on her phone. i guess she liked the song and wanted to listen to the whole thing because it just rang and rang. i finally had to ask her to turn it off because i was having issues hearing other peoples orders.

mono ringtones piss me off so much its unbelievable.
i'm more tolerant of poly ones, there easier on the ears.

my phone allows me to record my own ring tones so just now i've got pulley - hooray for me for my normal ring and for my text's i've got my friend shouting something, i cant remember what it is but its rather funny and is purposely made to piss people off, if i have to put up with it so do they.

damn i am getting beat up in here
It's a sore spot with me because there's some asshat in my office who feels the need to chage to a different song every couple of days. Of course when his phone rings he sits there and lets the entire song play through before answering the phone. I swear I'm going to smash his phone.

Mine sounds like an old 1970's analog phone from back in the Ma Bell days...

Young kids freak out when they hear it...

:p
Last summer we hired a Co-op who turned out to be a real ass. I had his number swapped from the normal digital office line to an analog one and gave him an old phone with real bell ringers in it. We had the guys in maintenance spot weld the volume adjuster to max. Everytime his phone would ring that kid would jump 10 feet in the air. We would call him for everything despite being just a few cubes away.

He ended up quitting a week later

I had to get a new phone yesterday, and I had two requirements. Speakerphone, and NO ANNOYING ASS POLYPHONIC RINGTONES! No camera, no Personal organizer, Just a phone.

I ended up getting a phone that is polyphonic capable, but has a regular "ring ring." I'm still trying to get used to it, I have 15 days to figure out if I'll be able to tolerate it.

I hate annoying long ringtones. and who the fvck needs MP3 RINGTONES?!?!

Mine is on -Manner Mode- all the time, no noise at all, just vibrates. Some guy even came into work looking for a bike. While he was being helped pick out a bike his phone rang, and he answered it, and proceeded to talk for like five minutes while the person helping him just sat there looking at him.

Phones should ring. Radios should play music.

You would look pretty stupid with a radio that rang, and you look pretty stupid with a phone that plays music.

I used to have a combo simple beep and vibration when the phone rang. After tooling around on the internet, I switched to the combo vibration and Dave Chapelle saying, "No I can't stop yellin', cuz that's how I talk!!!"

I agree with people above though--most rings are freakin lame.

Haha I have one called "extra sausage" Which says "here's your pizza ma'am" then plays porn music and moans, then I have a poly one of baby got back which actually sounded pretty cool when I previewed it, so I got that one, then I have a poly one of ruff rydahs anthem by dmx. That ones just an inside joke that wouldn't make sense. I hate the song ones that have words, they just sound lame.

great choices. throw in dave brubeck's "time further out" and things are all good.

i don't have one of these cool polyphonic ring tone phones yet, but the coolest ring tone that i've heard had to be the harry potter theme- it just sounded really clean.

btw- ive found that kind o blue is awesome on the minidisc player when riding solo. you're just more smooth on the climbs, descents and everything else in between.

Are you with Verizon?

Cause it sounds like the LG phone I just got. It's the only one they had with speakerphone.

So far so good!

Unless I'm mistaken, Time Out and Time Further Out are albums by Brubeck but not song titles. My favorite Brubeck tunes are Take Five and Blue Rondo A La Turk.

I downloaded The Clash-London Calling, but it sounded not so hot, also Kanye West- When It All Falls Down, and Turkey in the Straw (it was free). The problem is that even on the loudest setting, I can't hear them most of the time, so I'm back to the old phone ring.

i have the magnum pi theme for my ring tone. But most of the time i'm on vibrate. Not being polite though. I just like the tingling sensation in my pants.

I'd like mine to say "Pick up the fu!king phone!" or screams of mortal terror.
