A set of 25c tires... Vredstein fortezza's in 25 are my favorite road tire right now... nice air volume, good casing, and in my experience, tons of puncture resistance...

Any good tire should be fine, dependent on road conditions, your weight, etc.

I used Conti GP4000's for the century season, no flats rode great.

Good luck finding any! At least the Fortezza TriComps, they stopped making them in the 25c size. I think the regular Fortezza is still offered in 25c though, but my memory is fuzzy now...

If you can find the regular Fortezza 25s, I'm sure they'd be great. I went through a few of the 23s and liked them a lot- good grip, good wear rate, good puncture resistance. And they are usually quite a bit cheaper than the TriComps. The extra volume would be nice for longer rides.

Right now I'm using Vittoria Diamantes in 23c, which have done pretty well.

But I do think any good tire of at least 23c would be fine for most roads.

I've been using Continentals for a year now and they already have two huge wear holes. Only about 500 miles on them. I loved them but need better wear. Doing the Waves to Wine MS ride in Sept.

Thanks for the recomendations.

I've heard good things about the Tri Comps. I'll probably go that route.
