When I pedal backwards, my chain comes off. I have replaced the cassette, chain, as well as greased and trued my wheel, but its still happening. Any advice? TIA.

How do I fix that? Is it a derauiller adjustment? I have one chainring with a bash guard up front. I think one time I crashed and bent the bash guard, maybe the chainring too?

Sounds like a definate chain line prob. Had a similar problem with my trail bike last year. Turned out I slightly twisted the derailleur cage when I crashed. The derailleur rollers were way off line. simple tweak with a crecent wrench and I was good to go.

Your rear derailluer needs an adjustment. check out this link what is probably happening is the bottom part of the derailluer is out of line, but it's an easy fix using your barrel adjusters. If you tighten the cable the derailluer will move in toward the wheel and if you loosen the opposite will happen. try that first and use the link I gave you there is some good info there. Another possibility is you might need to clean and lube the chain. Before you adjust anything clean and lube. (the bike of course)

I adjusted my derailluer, though admitedly I am a newbie, so it could be messed up. I will check the hanger, but if its any of the other things I will just wait till the end of the season.
