He voted for FISA, Patriot Act reauthorization in 06, and all the war funding bills except one. This is if anything consistent with his voting record.

Anyway, she declares that Obama is going beyond Bush, and in some senses he is simply by stating what Bush was already doing. Bush already had these guys on "indefinite detention" and though it was for the same purpose, prevention of future crimes, he just never declared that.
That being said, both of them are hideously, embarrassingly wrong. Is it worse to **** on the constitution and show everyone, or **** on the constitution and hide it in your brothers underwear drawer?

It would be like having Transcend and PSP both shoot a mountain bike race: If they came back with the same quality of photos, that doesn't make Transcend look good
