is there a simple method to change the color of text in a pdf file? i'm out of black ink, and have to wait a few days to get a cartridge. i've got plenty of red and blue ink, though, and need to print homework. i've got Adobe 6.0

no can do with reader. you need the full version o' acrobat or some other (many exist) 3rd party pdf editing utility
