Looked at ReStackor a bit, just the demo so can't put the real shim stack in there, and came up with the stack below;

Comp = 18X.1, 18X.1, 13X.15, 16X.1, 16X.1, 15X.2, 13X.15, 8X.4 (clamp)

Compared to the stock 18X.1, 16X.1, 14X.1, 8X.4 clamp, it should be pretty different. :eek:
Buy restackor it's a lot of fun.
Piston geometry has a massive influence on the fv curve for a given stack.
Using a .15 thick crossover is bound to murder low-mid speed damping....

I'd have to look at it some more to see if piston design or flow and displacement can be put in...looks kind of fun to play with put what you have and set up as a baseline and dial it in to your needs...I will see if I can play with it before buying...

Pulled the 2.1 damper apart again and swapped the crossover shim to a 0.1mm and a few other things. Felt what was possibly cavitation in the first attempt.

Holy shit, now this thing is awesome! Took a quick lap on a rough and rowdy section of the Colorado trail today and was blown away.

Pretty easy damper to pull apart and work on, PUSH has a good tutorial for their HC97 install. 10mm shaft clamp is the only "special" tool needed.

Here is my full build spec, well worth the effort and about $50 in parts/oil.

Comp = 18X.1, 18X.1, 13X.1, 16X.1, 14X.1, 13X.1, 8X.4 (clamp)
Rebound = 15X.1, 15X.1, 15X.1, 15X.1, 13X.1, 12X.1, 11X.1, 8X.3 (clamp)
Lighter midvalve spring (from Diaz Suspension)
Motorex 2.5wt oil
Lyrik chassis/170mm air shaft with B1 seal head and foot nut (older version)
2.1 Charger Select+ (no HSC adjustment)

I'm definitely trying this out on my pike.

I saw a random comment on another forum claiming that rockshox eliminated the dished piston face for the 2.1 rc2.

Was that mf on some bullshit?

Try this compression tune for your Pike, slightly different from the one above.
I have it in a Pike and it seems better than the Lyric tune for high speed braking bumps/chatter, makes them disappear.

Comp = 18X.15, 17X.10, 11X.10, 16X.10, 14X.10, 13X.10, 8X.40 (clamp)

There was never any dishes piston face.
On charger 1 the stack preload was achieved through a ringshim.
On charger 2 its with a regular coil spring on the stack.
That mf was indeed on some bs...
