I got this helmet for the wife. Its the Belle XG or x-games helmet. Not too bad for $29 through Jensen. They come in Red/Black and Blue/White. Its vented pretty well and not too heavy. The pads dont remove but that is what a dishwasher is for. I thought I might just pass on the good deal.

Thanks man, I snagged one, they've only got the blue/white, when I first went to the site there both were available, but I waffled on if I wanted to spend the money or not and next thing I knew the red/black was gone. I like the blue/white better anyway.
Wow, $29? It's worth it to get one just to have around in case your main lid cracks or is lost.
I ordered online, at first they showed both on the website then the red one mystically dissapeared before my eyes.
Jensen's add in the new bike mag I picked up said Blue only and Med only for $39.

yeah, either that or what's in their mag ad is out of stock and discontinued. I usually just look at the magazine ads to see if they're carrying anything new or to get ideas of what to buy next, I usually refer to the website for actual pricing. Worst case you expect to pay $39 and when you call to order they say it'll be $29. Of course some wouldn't even bother calling if the price were $39 so I guess maybe there's a case here.
I almost bought on of those off of e-bay. How are they? Solid? weak? I am interisted to know if I passed on a good deal. And, like someone said, it can be a good idea to have a spare lid around.

Its a sweet helmet. It looks to be pretty burly and its fairly light. I am going to get one if they have my size. I think they only have Med left. Ill have to call.
