I've been BUSY.

New job.

New shop space under construction for my small business.

New drum kit in the works.

New album being written, hopefully hitting the studio in November-December.

Just did a recording session last week for music used in a video game announcement trailer. (that was FUN)

Today? I'm finally mowing the lawn and washing the car.

:D

H8R! Good to see you 'round these parts. So what's the name of the winery? Any recommendations? Can you get a deal for me on a case of something tasty?? :D

Oooh...which game?
Hint: It's a "new" game from Valve.

They haven't released the trailer yet.

I'm hoping that I get to do more recording for it, so far it's just the trailer music.

*fingers crossed*

Dang man... do you EVAR stop with the "hook me up with a case of this-or-that" ?

;)
Kind of an inside joke. (I think?)

I work at a grape vine nursery. We don't make wine. But of course when I posted that my new job was at a grape vine nursery, everyone immediately asked for hook ups of cases and bottles.

(this was exactly what happened at my last job when I turned in my resignation...) :wonky2:

We do have some nice dormant Cabernet varieties grafted on various rootstocks that we need to clear from cold storage, if anyone is planting. (it's a late season) We ship all over north America.

:D

When it comes to booze? Nope.

BTW - sweet avatar! :thumb:
Alright I'll give you that... always gotta ask about the booze! Speaking of which, I think I'm going to throw a little 'tay' of the 'par' variety this Saturday, and in attendance will probably be a whole keg of some tasty Great Divide brew. Probably DPA or Samurai but I'm thinking I need to pick up some bottles of Titan while I'm down there as well...

:D  :eviltongu

That's cool. My dad has a winery up in Victoria, BC. Used to have a vineyard in Paso Robles for a while. Grape growing is fun!

Just a vineyard or a winery? Anyone I heard of? I'm familiar with a lot of wineries in Paso.

I got some negative feedback from that guy as well... on a post about a cheesy metal band called Scatterbrain, he left me a negative comment that said "dissapprove of the 303" and I was thinking "How the hell does this person know I ride a 303?!?!" Then I realized whoever it was must be talking about my LOCATION... :D

Anyhow, now that we have the new and improved rep. stuff in the My Ridemonkey section, you can actually see who is leaving you comments. No more hiding behind anonymous negative rep giving, you bastards! Hahahahaha! Turns out, this "Mister Clean" (if that is his REAL name) posts over on the MTBR boards and was giving me a bunch of crap a couple years ago about posting race information on the boards. He called it "spam" and was really kind of an arse about it. I posted apologies over there and here for "spamming" the boards with race info (I felt relaly bad about it at the time) and the Ridemonkey Army came to my rescue over on the MTBR boards. Mister Clean goes by J.D. over there. Check out the thread, it was pretty funny:

It seems that he's known for harrassing people on the various boards. I think he's local to me (SO CAL). Gawd, I hope I never run into that guy on the trail. I bet he's a major prick to the other user groups on the trails.

H8R, how much does a grapevine plant go for? I have tons of space and growing grapes would be a cool thing to keep the wife busy. :D

Had a vineyard, but used friends' equipment to make the wine. Winchester Vineyards was the name of the wine when he was in Paso, it's Winchester Cellars now in Victoria.

Doesn't suck to be able to visit Victoria, ride my bike, and hang out at the winery...

Western Slope, Colorado. Rigid SS rider, I think. The years of no suspension seems to have rattled his brain... :D

Back to the topic of SkaredShtles being a big fat moochy-mooch... Hey SS! I'm getting a keg of Hercules Double IPA this weekend, in case you're interested in attending the festivites. No bacon, only beer. And maybe some mashed potatos!
