The other fairly humourous part was the Afghan "nearly 10m people have registered to vote!" - Afghanistan has a population of 27m. I think the averag age is like 27 - whatever it is low - So 1/3 of the population has registered to vote? Those are gonna be some representative elections dude!
Amusingly, this story (about .com vs .org) is the main story to come out of the debate. Google news is headlining with it. I used to think that the American media deliberatly didn't cover the issues, but now I just think they're lazy. Why spend all that time figuring out who won, checking all the facts against what was said, researching opinion polls, when we can just go 'Oh look! Cheney got the dot thingy wrong! Ha Ha! Here George Soros, have some free publicity!' I suppose some good did come out of it then...
