Here is a cool 15 minute helmet cam of the start of the 2005 Chequamegon 40. It was shot by John Wyrcza he rides for WheelFast Racing in Illinois. For those who have not experienced Cheq it is a mass start race w/ 1600 riders held every Sept. in The Wisconsin North Woods. The starts are kind of tame as the locals use this as an event so it starts slowly through town and picks up a faster pace as the riders actually get into the woods. This is a fun event to attend (if you can get an entry, as it is a lottery to get in) its a fun ,hard course , but the finish is worth it, there is always live bands, Bratwurst & Cold Beers waiting for you.
