Going "home" for a reunion and want to ride when I am there. Any suggestions for riding near Chico. I am planning to hit Downieville and wanted to know if there is anything closer. I have heard upper Bidwell Park has an extensive trail system. Anything else I need to do while there?

Dank is cool, He hits some pretty crazy **** though.

If you can ( or want to) You can shuttle up 32 and ride the disc golf trail

If not, North rim, south rim, are good choices if you wanna climb a bit

you might also want to hit the freeman trails which loop around the oroville damn, another kick ass ride.

Whew, so there really are people out there! Thanks for the input, I'll keep checking back. Not a freerider, just a cross-country fool that races from time to time. Climbing, rocks and ledges are good.
