I'm having the same debate for the next bike - he's almost outgrown the 12" (and is always spinning out gearwise). 16" or 20"? He'll be approaching well over 45" tall at 4 years + ...
I'm debating....but I am a little worried on the wheel strength for my little bruiser. He's a already riding down stairs and loves to "bash/crash/smash" into curbs.
For reference, Syd is 45" at 5 1/2 and riding a 16" bike comfortable with a little room to grow. She's already calling dibs on my bikes 'cause she thinks she's going to be taller than me soon
