Changleen makes an excellent point, so I'm going to twist it for my use.
I had been going to my wife's church for the last several months. And finally I had enough of it for this very reason. They spent several weeks going over the Da Vinci code and debunking it along with all the "proof" and "evidence" about the biblical version of Jesus's life. Then on Easter sunday they spend the entire sermon going over the "proof" and "evidence" of the resurrection. To me that's simply not the point.
It's also funny when they come here to "discuss" their faith, but all they really want to do is preach, insult, and denigrate. Then, when you disagree, you are being closed-minded, unreasonable, arrogant, mean, etc. What a crock.
I'm still waiting to hear what my ulterior motives are, and whether someone who is not a Xtian is automatically lame.
Because someone told me so. Honestly, if no one ever told me what breathing was then I wouldn't know that I was breathing.
Beautiful sunrises and sweet singletrack? How does that make you aware of God? What does that even have to do with God? Maybe you are just passing gas? Who knows?
