That would be rad on a sunny day in AZ.

It would also be the single best backdrop for a porn. Chrissy Moran getting railed on that hood would be top-notch stuff.

funny thing... as soon as I read the title, it reminded me of a gold (plated?) mercedes e series I saw on a program shot in Dubai. Looked just like this but golden.

whatever floats your boat.

I've seen that A8 in person. Its quite stunning (insane) in the desert sun.
definitely has a strange appeal - reminds me of the spacecrafts in Starwars I.

the A8 is my favorite big sedan. I sort of love the chrome thing...They should have done it with the actual A8 wheels though...see below...

Its a paint finish called ChomeFX or MirraChrome. It was released about a year or so back and they had a BMW M3 and an AMG55 on the stand in the finish.

I believe its just a normal 2-pack paint with some interesting chemistry to it. The same company who makes them also does some pretty funky effects in other paints. Just the kinda thing that would go sweet on bikes or helmets me thinks.

The really cool part is that it apparently requires the same surface prep as any regular paint job and should last as long.

If you want to get even cooler you can spray candy tints over it to colour it off so you can have shiny reds or blues or whatevers.

Too lazy/busy to read the articles. Anyone remember the Audi Avus? The one with the W12 from the mid 90's or something? It was a polished aluminum body. Same finish as that.
