yo dudes...I got a 22oz delerium tremens yesterday to celebrate 7 hours of driving in snow, and when I got home and opened it up there were lots of "chunks" floating around in the beer. I know some beer is unfiltered, but this was nasty. Am I correct in assuming this is not typical, or do people actually enjoy chunky beer?

oh jeez...hope the liquor stores excuses my ignorance and allows me to swap the bottle. I should have checked the ol' series of tubes before allowing my hypochondriac girlfriend to convince me that it had gone bad and set it aside.

oh well.

It's probably yeast and the more the bottle gets agitated, the more floaties you get. Leaving the unopened bottle alone for a while and being very gentle with the pour probably could limit the sediment in the glass, but there is nothing wrong with the beer.
