I remember this company vaguely (early '90's) but I have a friend who has one and wants more info about it. Anybody, chime in...

Thanks!

try the vintage forum on mtbr...
What I remember was a slew of crazy fs bikes, pineapple lacing, tension discs and That they built the Lemond Ti bikes, including the front and rear rst sprung bike that Lemond raced in 93 o 94 paris-roubaix.

My guess is that they were severely flexy even in road or hardtail form, and that they were built at Sandvik, except for prototypes...

I had one, the propensity to crack thing is sort of true in their earlier batches. I came into the frame under weird circumstances and did the same thing, try and learn everything I could.

Mine was one of the last Ti road frames that came out of the company, right before they closed, which I believe was in 97

They are high quality frames, welded with precision that is still only seen in the nicest of ti frames.

Haha, Kalo...some @sshole in a black SUV cut me off on 580 a couple weeks ago....had a huge Kalo MTB decal on the back window. I wonder if having kalo decals on your car raises vandalism insurance premiums...?
