Not to mention short term 2nd job employment opportunities.....In sticking with my tradition of letting broke people borrow stuff for races, I've got an extra Truvativ crankset that should work. PM me if you're interested. But this may warrant an employee discount on a double barrel.
if you need a ride down to Clemson, I got room for 1 more in the green hornet.I've got a pretty serious problem here! Being a typical Asheville hippie, I live out of my car for weeks at a time(roadtrip!)...and to make a long story short, I lost one of my crank arms on a recent road trip! All of the local bike shops do not carry any beefy single ring cranksets, and lack of money prevents me from ordering from Quality(I work at Cane Creek)....I purchased a new BB(68mm), and it would be absolutely amazing if someone has a crankset that I might be able to use for the race?!?!
"the truth is that when i get muddy i tend to get..you know...kind of ...um...err....tingly...down there and well, you've got a real purdy mouth ya' know."i still have room in the cabin if anyone needs a place to crash for cheap on friday night.
I can probably find an adapter. You have a place to stay?I think I'm coming down. Does anybody have a front brake I can borrow? Or an adapter for a Avid Juicy to go on an argyle?
what size?I think I'm coming down. Does anybody have a front brake I can borrow? Or an adapter for a Avid Juicy to go on an argyle?
we'll at least do some walk through's so i'm not spending all of my practice time following noah on race day. i'm just gonna play it by ear. i'm coming down friday regardless because i really don't want to get up at 430 on sat morning to drive down....and the cabin's paid for.Manimal - are you still gonna be out there riding the course on Friday even though there's now a 60% chance of rain? I'm thinking of coming down for the slop fest.
you sure you're reading that right? the hourly shows it starting around 11am and getting heavier until 6pm. looks like practicing friday is out of the questionWow - chance of rain went from 40% early this week to 60% and now to 90% for Friday. Looks like it's supposed to pass early though - afternoon riding could be fun.
Darn weather.com won't let you copy and paste. Here's what it says right now:you sure you're reading that right? the hourly shows it starting around 11am and getting heavier until 6pm. looks like practicing friday is out of the question
