yes he was, unfortunately i didnt really start even listening to 'tallica till fall 86 so i really couldn't appreciate the loss at the time. his solo on kill'm all rocks

cliff was probly one of the most talented bassists ever and is missed by all tallica fans evrywhere. its a shame that we didnt get to see his full musical potential. and im also pretty sure he wouldnt have let the band get where it is today. im sure they would have had a much bvetter sound. miss ya cliff.
