Storm of the century. That is such an overused term and should have been retired long ago.

I remember one of them back in March of 93.

Was in Bradenton Florida visiting my at my parents place and was leaving the next morning.
I remember watching it come in Tampa bay with so much lightening that it was almost inverse. Full on blue-white for many seconds than a flash of dark then back to blue-white. Unreal. My wife and I stupidly left the next morning and made it as far as Atlanta when they closed I-75 and had to scramble to find accommodations. Should have stayed put at Mom an Dads for an extra few days.

Watching southerners drive in ice and snow when you are in the middle of them is terrifying. :panic:

/cool story bro.

I think it's just showing that it's the pot calling kettle black - Trump has recently been claiming there's no money left at FEMA because it's all been spent housing immigrants.
So let me get this straight, government is bad and taxation is theft until it impacts me personally, then it's why isn't the government doing more and who's going to help pay for the recovery?

Got it.

The depths of human idiocy are simply unfathomable. Moreso than the concept of an ever expanding universe. Or our blip of existence in the scale of time.

Every time I see a story like this and think, wow, we've finally done it, we've officially hit an intellectual rock bottom, some smooth brained moron-savant comes along and establishes a new nadir. Our advances and learnings as a species are eclipsed by the mind boggling stupidity we are assaulted with on a daily business. Fucking hell.

Lots of the points raised in the video I just posted in the religion thread can be applied to our current "world", despite being fairly aged at this time.

I have been pointing this out to (you and other) people for a long fucking time.

Terminating the billionaire class will solve a whole fucking lot of problems.

Edit: Now that I actually read the article, “kill the rich.”

I say Taylor gets a pass, she is a beautiful human inside and out.
(remains to be seen what she ultimately does with her fortune, but she seems to be loved and respected by everyone that works for her).
No. No one gets a pass. No ultra-rich. Don’t want to the pay the “tax”? Then give away your wealth or don’t accept it in the first place.

also, Letting your fortune grow by “investment” is a crime against humanity.

A comment I read ages ago was that if you had more than $999m, beyond that it would immediately go to charity and you'd be given a trophy saying you'd won the capitalism contest.
