I just wanted to knee jerk review the Maxxis s-reezay and supertack tires.
I rode a different brand for two + years.
But, yesterday and this morning I rode Maxxis. The trails are ultra-wet, steep, rocky, root covered trails anyone freeriding this weekend in New England knows what I'm saying. All I can say is WOW. I didn't realize a tire could make soooooooo much difference. Climbs, braking, steering all increased to the point I'm writing this.
Also, for the Intense 5.10 crowd. I rode my Vans yesterday so as not to destroy my Intense for this morning. A report on these as well. I use Atomlab pedals (quiet, they are super when working). My Vans were all over the place. I also haven't used these in 2+ years. So, another confirmation for any 5.10 users and those thinking about ordering them. Intense is the word.
That is all. I'm going for a hat trick and trying to ride Monday as well. I love this weather.
Tires: F: Minion DH 2ply 2.35 SlowR / R: Larsen TT 2.35 single SuperT (Larsen appears larger than Minion despite size being equal)
