The basics:
Bullit with 5th E, 325lb spring, 125 psi air pressure.
When I preload the shock for a jump, I hear a clunk when I leave the ground. If I press down on the seat to compress the shock, when I release it, I hear and feel the clunk too. It occurs at the end of the rebound stroke, when the shock reaches the limit.
I tried adjusting the rebound dampening for slower rebound, but it didn't help, in fact it doesn't appear to have done anything at all. Compression feels normal.
Is this normal, and I just never noticed it before? Should I send it in to Progressive? Should I ignore it and keep riding? Am I doing more damage by continuing to ride?
Thanks for any help.
