Any suggestions on things to do, outside of Denver metro over a 4-day weekend? I've got 11/6-11/9 off work and we want to get out of town. It has to be within 3-4 hours drive because that's about Haley's threshold. We want to take Layla with (unless a Denver monkey wants to dog sit for a weekend), so we to find things that are dog and 3 y/o friendly. Any thoughts?

Dog-friendly gonna make it tough. Glenwood Springs is always a nice fall getaway...but probably not particularly dog-friendly.

Kennel at Santa Fe down towards 470 is decent from my understanding.
That's what we were thinking, but not really dog friendly.

if i still lived there i would have been more than happy to haul your pooch around hiking while you were on vacation with the family...

Alas, you are not. I don't have many friends here who can pick up a dog for a long weekend though.

I think I would use Rover that was suggested above. There are a few within my neighborhood for around $20/day.
