So I just installed one side and its fine, but the other I put in but when I depress the lever down it makes a click and locks the lever into place. Im thinking i might have installed it backwards (though Im not sure how thats possible) but does anyone have any experience with this and might be able to shed some light on wtf I did wrong? Worst case scenario I call sram but Im not a huge fan of those guys.

Also i'd re-check your installation. Check the return spring & metal piece / mechanism as it can be seated improperly.

it was the whole piston assembley. I guess it wasnt grease well enough. I took it out and regreased it and put it back together. Everything seems to be working fine now.
