Ya gotta get the encapsulated ones. And not have reflux. That helps as well. Fishy burps are indeed gross.I dunno... I've tried fish oil before and couldn't even tolerate the burps that resulted.
Fucking millennials...Gotta try things for myself, ya know.

Gonna recommend the Baratza for a value choice. Good grind control, and one of the best parts - you can get replacement parts for cheap straight from the mfg'r should you need to repair it.looks like i'll be needing a new grinder eventually too.
that's one of the brands i was looking at, which model do you have?Gonna recommend the Baratza for a value choice. Good grind control, and one of the best parts - you can get replacement parts for cheap straight from the mfg'r should you need to repair it.

Jon, go for the Baratza Sette 270wi. It weighs the grinds.
looks like i'll be needing a new grinder eventually too.
OK, @Toshi...looks like i'll be needing a new grinder eventually too.
i'm looking for a coffee bean grinder, not a butter churn......OK, @Toshi...
If I was that much of a fucking nerd, I'd go for one of these and a non-complicated grinder like I have.the 270wi is one of the models i was looking at, but in reading some of the user reviews one of the most common complaints is that the weights are off, which sounds like just a calibration issue and should be fixable on a unit at this price point.
yea but that's extra steps in the process. i'm i'm gonna weigh check the fill, i want that shit automated. If I was that much of a fucking nerd, I'd go for one of these and a non-complicated grinder like I have.

the prior model of the 270 doesn't have the weight feature and is $150 cheaper....Please tell me you aren't gonna weigh it. Please?

I actually am super lax about how much grounds I put in my French press. Seems to taste similar enough either way.I can just envision @Toshi with a tiny serrated knife, cutting a coffee bean into thirds.
Right - thread is for coffee n00Bs, not coffee connoisseurs.I actually am super lax about how much grounds I put in my French press. Seems to taste similar enough either way.
