As a member or supporter of the Coffee Party, I pledge to conduct myself in a way that is civil, honest, and respectful toward people with whom I disagree. I value people from different cultures, I value people with different ideas, and I value and cherish the democratic process.

I haven't joined, just lurking around trying to sniff out what the agenda is about.

If anything, they should just take a stance of better education. That alone puts them in direct conflict with the folks they're wishing to poke fun at.

You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans...oh hell no.

3 in 10 are Independent and 1 in 10 are Democrat. To say "4 in 10" makes it seem 50/50, but the article says "28 percent Independent and 13 percent Democratic", not quite 50/50, but clever attempt to make the tea bagger movement seem less one sided.
