Has anyone put a coil over on your Enduro? I have an '03 Enduro and am thinking about replacing the air shock on it with a coil over. What do you guys think?

I think the only reason that I would switch out the air shock was that I might blow it up. I've got an air shock on one of my bikes, that I use for djing and it holds up. So if your concern is how longs it's gonna last I wouldn't worry about it. However there is no reason why you couldn't put a coil shock on their.

the enduro uses a weird size of eye-to-eye shock length, I thought it was like 193mm

You can either use a 190mm shock, which will slacken the head angle and lower the bb just a bit or use a 200mm shock, which will steapen the head angle and raise the bb

I know Romic makes a coilover specifically made for the Enduro

Risse makes a link so you can use a longer shock (eye to eye) and get 6" of travel. I assume that the shock would also have more travel than the airshock.

They are doing one for the 2003 enduro's now. I e-mailed them and they are available. Not sure of the exact shock configuration to run with the link. Personally I would prefer the Romic over the Risse shock.
