So I stacked really hard on World Cup on CS. My hand hit a tree branch and tossed me onto a big freakin rock. Bruised the hell out of my thigh and can barely walk:dead: I also K.O.'d my seat, maybe a Ti railed roadie seat is a bad idea:rofl:
Appearantly I wasn't the only one either, my buddies Ari and John both crashed out on CS this weekend.
Anyone else get owned on the trail this weekend?

No, that sucks dude! Trashing parts always sucks.
I almost went down a couple of times this weekend, but the closest I got was washing out @ Fort Ord yesterday, I caught it in time though.
On a side note, I was in my big ring half the ride though, I felt awesome!

Consider yourself lucky. My friend and I hit up Romero Canyon for an easy spin. We're about a 1/4 into the singletrack and we come across this trail runner who is freaking out, asking us if we have a cell phone. We give her a phone, and it turns out her friend took a bad fall a little way up the trail, and sliced open her knee. I usually carry duct tape and vicoden (long story) with me, so my buddy and I bolt up the trail to see if we can help. We come up to her, and get her to sit down while I search through my pack. My supplies are not to be found, but we want to re-wrap her knee until S&R showed up. I take off the wrap expecting a little blood, but instead I find her kneecap!!!1! To finish a long story, the chick "man ups," and continues the hike towards the fireroad. After she leaves, I look to my friend and ask if it was cool if I was checking her out as she showed us the wound. He was diong the same, so it was all good. That girl was gnarcore.

Took a pretty good 'slide on your face till you stop' fall at the elwood bluffs. That tweeked my wrist pretty good, but we still got in a few Knapps runs later in the day.

You think that's bad!? I burned my eyeballs out looking at the girls while riding on the Venice boardwalk on Sunday. Talk about extreme riding.
B.S. Lets see some photographic evidence (chicks, not fried corneas)

DAMN!

I was up there this week. I wanted to ride somewhere (dirt) with a monkey possibly, but none of the hotels we stayed at had internet. I had no internet for a whole week .

Its not a crash, or on CS, but I did destroy my wheel on Tunnel last weekend. Derrailleur went into the spokes, ripped out a bunch, messed up my rim, and pulled apart my hub. Not to mentioned that my friend flatted at the top.

Not as bad, but...

<Norcal Hella Sucks!!>
I rode with black noise for like 2 hours. My parents dropped me off, we rode a trail and walked up. The guy from CO who ended up coming with us went to get his truck so we could shuttle, while we rode down the trail. Once at the bottom, he finally came and picked us up. I rode up with the CO guy, while black noise drove his car down. While we were waiting, we were screwing around and doing cutties. I was doing them on my bad side, trying to get better, when my front wheel drifted and I fell on my arm . One guy in the parking area saw me, and asked if I was okay. It must have looked so funny.

My tire was low, so before, I climbed to the top of the trail, I used the guy from CO's co2 pump. As I rode, it was getting lower. I heard so many noises when my wheel hit the ground after the drops and jumps.

By the time I got to the bottom, it was definately flat. We shuttled with black noise's friend who had a fullsize truck. I realized my parents had been waiting for me somewhere when the called- I said I could be down in 10min (after I hung up, *remebering* oh yeah- FLAT!) At the top, the guy from CO gave me a tube and I replaced it. I was pumping air into when suddenlly, the co2 thing popped off the valve and spit the seal out.

It scared the **** out of me and the others (we thought it was going to blow up). Well, after two co2 cartridges and a still airless tube, we realized it was broken. Adam drove me down. We took a wrong turn somewhere and ended by a school and a ces(swimming)pool:D. Eventually, we found the turnout with my parents car and I left. What a 2.5 hrs!
