there was a track in columbia a long time ago,don't know why it closed.

The end of that track killed the BMX scene in the area at the time. I began making the trip from DC to York twice a week for gate practice. Then Whitetail opened and I stopped going to York. They built a parking lot where the track once was. Great memories from that place which I once took for granted.

They didn't exactly build a parking lot where the track was in columbia. They built a kinda crappy skatpark and a mini golf course. They also have enough space to put a new bmx tack there if they want to.
