Hi guys,

A friend of mine has a 2001 Schwinn Straight 8 and is about to buy some new bottom bracket, crankset and chain guide. He wants to get a Truvativ Box Guide and a Saint crankset. The frame doesn't have those ISCG adjustment.

Will this setup fit or will it need a ISCG adapter to work?

There is a Box Guide which is BB compatible, in other words, will mount between the BB shell and the right cup.
