Darn. That seems crazy. I'm really only running a few psi less than a lot of the WC guys, which seems reasonable given the difference in rider weight/amount of force being transmitted through them. Then again, those guys don't necessarily ride a set of tires for very long.Largely preventable by running higher air pressure.
was gonna say... they don't run their tires for longevity.Darn. That seems crazy. There's a dh casing and a dd casing. What's the worry?Urgh.... why EXO?
WHY!!!!!!!!
I'm only seeing DD and DH in The Strong SizeUrgh.... why EXO?
WHY!!!!!!!!
If you're just riding loamers or muddy/grassy stuff EXO would be ok on a trail bike I guess. More importantly, they're doing DD and DH casings. Some of their other new tyres were delayed in the DD casing for a long time.Urgh.... why EXO?

delivered this morning, and man people aren't kidding then they say it isn't a high volume tire.after years on maxxis, gonna try the michelin DH34.
i don't see 26" listed at all.I'm only seeing DD and DH in The Strong Size
I reckon those front and rear, a big grassy hill after some rain, a few stolen traffic cones, some mates, a stopwatch and a lot of beer would make a brilliant arvoI'm tempted to try that Shorty 2 for summer desert conditions...
Oh dear...... I think I now have some shenanigans to plan for this winter.I reckon those front and rear, a big grassy hill after some rain, a few stolen traffic cones, some mates, a stopwatch and a lot of beer would make a brilliant arvo
I rode the originals in like 1994 or something. Horrible on anything other than grass. They're not making them again are they?Anybody with time on Onza Porcupines? I'm a sucker for retro gimmicks.
It's for the super-low pressures crowd...That photo (rendering?) makes it look like the side knobs are truly on the sidewalls and not oriented toward the contact patch. I hope that's just an illusion.

Comparison to DHF?Really enjoying the Griffus front and rear on my Remedy. Fast rolling and loads of traction.
On dry/tacky dirt and hardpack there's just as much grip as a MaxxGrip imo. Really nice damped/quiet feel to them, too.Comparison to DHF?
Yea I just paid a lot in shipping to get two Rockr 29 from BikeInn.
I hope CRC stocks more at blow out prices.
The new big Betty is great ..I just ordered a couple more and some magic Mary's...BB rears...Any updates on the Big Betty boys. Testing out a 29er but the DHF out back is less than ideal and the bigger wheels already make for some braking challenges. DHR2s are hard to come by at the mo and I wouldnt mind trying something different, including a MM up front now we are close to Autumn. The weight is my biggest concern and I read that the BB loses points riding off camber (less of a concern) and wet roots/rocks (more of a conern), when compared to the DHR2.
I have also been poking around the Michelin camp and looking at the Wild Enduro F&R tires.
I am still sold on an Assegai front and DHR2 rear combo, grip for days.
