Don't go cheap. You really get what you pay for in those things. There are some nice 720p ones shipping now for under $2000 though. avsforums may be a good place to start for reviews?

Can i come play my xbox on it? :)

Ok....but you'll have to get to Hawkesbury...I'm looking into it for work.

We have one right now, but it's about 5 years old and the aspect ratio is all messed up. I can't get it to work with my laptop without either stretching it way too much left/right, or chopping off the bottom two inches of my screen.

Not sure what the problem is...

Probably a widescreen projector on a laptop without a 16:9 screen.

That's all my input will be for this thread, though, I don't know squat about projectors :D

You need one of these 9000 lumen jobs: Sanyo:D

I think the standard HID bike lights/low beam automotive HIDs are like 600-800 lumen for reference.

Anyhow, I recommend going with DLP projectors, but I haven't looked into buying one at work in a long time so I don't know which models are best right now.
