John David Coppin got his 1 upgrade on Wed with his finish. He went on to win the GC for the 2s out west. Of course my only contribution is the work on his bikes, but at least I had a little hand in it. He started racing about 3 years ago. He's awfully dedicated to cycling. It's nice to see it pay off with dividends. What's amazing is seeing his times vs the pros. I know how strong he is compared to me. It puts things into perspective. Anyway - let's hear it for my boy.

Damn...that's impressive. Is he a TX native? What did he do before racing? That's a quick pace of advancement.

He works with a wellness program at the local hospital. He ran cross country for a long time. Belton native. Went to college at John Brown, I think.
