Just a dumb question.....I while back I downloaded a few songs from Itunes....well, they are m4p format and I would like to convert them to Mp3.....anyone know of any free programs to convert these?

Not trying to be rude (as in, "do a search, dumbass"), I just don't do audio conversions so I don't know what the best tool is. However:

There's a ton of results there with downloads, I'd just download shareware programs until you find one you're happy with.

if you care about sound quality, don't transcode.

or if you *think* you don't care, make a copy of the song, transcode it, and try an ABX comparison. saving from one lossy format to another WILL result in degraded sound and loss of information...how sensitive you are to that depends entirely on you.
