So the message at tonight's meeting was it's a bunch of bullshit charges that aren't even real laws. My comment was if he hadn't paid to have sex with a porn star while his wife was pregnant, this wouldn't be an issue. Dale's response was "how long ago was this? Last I checked, Canada does not allow anyone who has committed a Canadian felony into their country. It’s why they don’t let people who have DUI convictions visit. Because a DUI is a felony in Canada, even though it’s not in America. Wait, aren’t you Canadian?
from what I was reading last night, now that he's been convicted, he's being assigned a probation officer (until sentencing) and will require permission from the probation officer to leave NY state for any reason.
I'm pretty sure he also paid for the sex as I don't see folks getting in line to bang him, but I'm no expert. But yes, it was the hush money that was the issue at hand.
I was just trying to make the point that had he had any morals, the whole issue could have been avoided. I just thought the justification was hilarious.
